SPIRITUAL INTEGRITY

Integrity, according to Webster’s, is the uprightness of character; honesty; the condition, quality or state of being complete or undevided.

1. character - …the individual nature of some person or thing
2. honesty – freedom from deceit or fraud
3. undevided – united

As believers (in Christ) we are set apart for God. Psalm 4:3 (King James Version) declares this, “3But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself.”

We live in this world, but we don’t operate in the same way that the world operates. There should be a distinction between those that are in the world and those that are in Church.

This month’s Publisher’s Corner is geared towards those that are in the Church, whether you are serving as a leader or lay member.

Ephesians Chapter 5 is very clear about what our actions and attitudes as believers should be:

1. We should be followers of God
2. We should walk in love
3. We should not be fornicating, unclean or covetousness
4. We should give thanks
5. We should walk as children of light

Ephesian Chapter 5 also goes on to discuss that those who are whoremongers, unclean, covetousness or idolatorous will not have an inheritance in the kingdom of …God and if we do these things the wrath of God will come upon us. Verse 6 of Ephesians 5 states the wrath of God will come upon the children of disobedience.

Let's make the decision to choose right, because it is right, even when our flesh wants to go in a different direction. Let's choose to love, even when we want to hate, because it is right.

We want to be persons of spritual integrity!
